Just a little glimpse at what our last mission trip was like.  Enjoy.

Memories

This picture was taken on the last building day of our 2006 trip.  I don't remember the names of the husband and wife in this picture, but I do remember that they made around US$250 per month, and that they both cried when we gave them the keys to their new house.

The look of joy on Dan Woods' face is priceless.  The feeling of serving the Lord in such a way is almost indescribable.

I can't wait to build more homes this year...

2006 Mission Trip Video

As we go through the next several months, getting ready for the big trip, I'll occasionally add memories from previous mission trips.  Today I'm putting up some "instructional" video courtesy of Dan and Alyssa.  In this they show us how they plan on mixing the cement.

For those that don't know...we are building these houses without the use of power tools (like cement mixers).  It's a VERY full day of work to lay the 11' x 22' foundation.  It requires a lot of stamina and more than a lot of good attitude.   Check out the video...
